The Commission Office under the guidance of the Commission’s appointed Administrator maintains accounting and finance records of the Walker County Commission along with other functions including annual budgets and appropriations, fixed assets and inventory, grants, purchase orders, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and human resources.
The Commission Office also prepares and maintains official records of the Walker County Commission including local acts, minutes, resolutions, amendments, contracts and agreements, policies and procedures, and other important papers.
